ZeNETeX is a small business (SBA) that specializes in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL©), ISO 9000 and ISO 20000 consulting, training, computer networking, and enterprise system support to Federal, State and Local Governments.  We have years of practical experience assessing, implementing, and managing IT processes and systems using ISO 9000, ITIL© and ISO 20000 processes and standards within large, complex, global, classified and unclassified IT environments. ZeNETeX has established a successful track record of effectively leveraging service management best practices to increase operational efficiencies, reduce operational costs, and improve end user satisfaction.
In addition to the ITIL© and ISO consulting and certification training expertise, ZeNETeX provides engineering, operations, quality, security and program management.  The Company also provides enterprise application support of the leading infrastructure and network management products such as Remedy, Unicenter, Peregrine and OpenView.
All of our consultants are ITIL© certified at one of three levels (Foundations, Practitioner or Master).  This ensures continuity and consistency in our repeatable solution set. Almost all of our employees hold security clearances.  
Our client base consists of the largest defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies as well as the largest systems integrators and telecommunications carriers.  ZeNETeX is a member and a proud sponsor of the local and national chapters of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF). 
 

History

ZeNETeX incorporated in November of 1999 with operations officially beginning in March of 2000. Our original focus was on providing telecommunication carrier class network related services to government and commercial clients. Our first client was Citicorp. Our network engineering and operations staff had 24 X 7 responsibilities for managing Citicorp’s global enterprise network that supported daily transactions valued at more than 15 billion dollars. 
In 2001, ZeNETeX provided consulting services in support of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer for the District of Columbia. The purpose of the engagement was to introduce infrastructure management best practices for a data center. The Information Technology Infrastructure (ITIL©) framework was selected for implementation and the results were noteworthy. Over the years ZeNETeX has continued to use ITIL© as a means of delivering network engineering, network operations, network security and project management services to the largest government agencies, system integrators and telecommunication carriers.  
Based on the positive results ZeNETeX obtained using ITIL© , we began responding to our clients requests for assistance in implementing service management best practices, primarily within large, complex, global, classified network environments such as the Pentagon.  Recognizing t he need for ITIL© training, we developed our training services and ITIL© Foundations course material and upon approval, we began delivering ITIL© certification training accredited by EXIN (Examination Institute for Information Science).
Many leading enterprise applications are not properly configured to facilitate key processes that enable the effective management of the IT infrastructure. ZeNETeX employs ITIL© certified senior consultants with the ability to install, integrate, administer, and manage leading products such as Remedy, Unicenter and Peregrine. The Enterprise Application Support Group focuses on assisting clients in the integration and configuration of the ITSM conforming applications with new or existing ITIL© based processes in order to maximize the value of their investment. 
The company maintains our in legacy providing network related services in accordance with ITIL© and our Technical Services Group provides technical resources that are not only certified in their respective discipline, but are also ITIL© certified. Technical certifications maintained by members of the Technical Service Team include for example CCIE, CCDP, CCNP, CCNA, CISSP, and MCSE. In addition to the technical certifications, ZeNETeX also retains PMI certified Project Managers, Service Managers, Change Manager, Configuration Managers, Service Desk Managers, Problem Managers and Service Level Managers. ZeNETeX’s engineers, technical support staff, and process managers have supported Network Operations, Network Engineering, Network Security, Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Operations, as well as the Service Desk and all key ITIL© processes. 
ISO 9001:2000 is the global Quality Management System standard that contains the requirements for compliance to the standard. High quality, customer-focused, repeatable, and continually improving services yield an increased customer satisfaction and service success.  As an Information Technology (IT) service provider, ZeNETeX has a proven methodology for the certification of IT system processes. ZeNETeX offers consulting services focused on ISO 9000 to help our clients establish process baselines and focus their organizations on process management and improvement and customer satisfaction through the achievement of ISO 9001:2000 certification.

With the ITIL©/ISO 20000 consulting and training, enterprise application support, and technical resource support, we are able to provide any Government agency or IT program, a variety of IT Service Management related services and capabilities that are delivered in accordance with ITIL© and other international best practices.
