Contingent Program Manager

Delex Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. Pending contract award, we will have an opportunity for a Program Manager to lead and administer the contracted effort in providing engineering, logistical, and program management support to a major weapon system acquisition program office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains Profit/Loss responsibility by ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments, terms, and conditions
  • Direct efforts of a cross-competency team to include employees at multiple locations, from one or more subcontractors
  • Oversee Delex and subcontractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, program and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
  • Manage staffing and deployment of program resources throughout program; control financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract support requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.
  • Establish and maintain long term customer relationships by facilitating customer satisfaction
  • Ensures all personnel assigned to the program are trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks
  • Counsels subordinate employees to maximize their professional development and to ensure that the collective best interest of the company and individuals are served
  • Providing strong leadership while upholding corporate ethical standards.
  • Complies with governing laws and regulations so as to ensure legal, fair, and consistent personnel and contract management

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance with background investigation completed within the past five years
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, management, or equivalent field
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement: associates degree and 2 years’ additional relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED and 4 years’ additional relevant experience
  • PMP highly desired; if not currently held this certification must be attained within 1 year of appointment to position
  • Eight years of professional experience in defense acquisition, with three recent years in support of Navy Acquisition Program management
