IT Specialist

ZENETEX is currently seeking to hire an IT Specialist.  The specialist will provide end-user support for a variety of technical issues submitted by email, phone calls, and in-person requests.  Responsible for documenting, tracking, and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution.  In addition to resolving technical issues, the specialist also maintains user accounts and configures computers for deployment.

* The position requires travel to support our Washington DC office once per week

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to California MD office
  • Create help desk tickets for requests submitted by phone or email
  • Resolve technical end-user issues
  • Configures/deploys laptops/desktops for deployment to new users
  • Create/Manage/Disable user accounts based on employment status
  • Support Email Certificate training/deployment
  • Oversee local network on location
  • Communicate efficiently with end users and multiple levels of leadership
     

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in IT, Network Systems, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role providing help desk support
  • Experience working in network systems administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN architecture
  • Ability to stay efficient and on task with little supervision

  • Microsoft Windows (7 and 10)
  • Microsoft Office Professional (2012, 2016, and Office 365)
  • Email Certificates (PKI Encryption)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Apple iPhone
