The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded Zenetex, LLC a five-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Information Technology (IT) support services in support of the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) program. The company was awarded a contract under Functional Category 2, Information Technology Program Support Services, which will provide the full range of business and technical management services in support of DHS offices or programs. Zenetex is the prime contractor, teamed with Aveshka (Arlington, Va.); K2 Consulting (Bethesda, Md.); Kilda Group, LLC (Annapolis, Md.); and, PMOLink Government Solutions (Mandeville, La.). Other team members include Engility, Aerotek, URS, iTechnology Group and Digital Enterprises, Inc.
Zenetex currently provides a wide range of IT services, information security, training, IT transformation and strategy, FMS, logistics, and program management office support to a variety of federal government agencies, both domestically and overseas.
Zenetex fulfilled the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC) and the Office of the Chief Information Officer's (OCIO) requirement for large-scale, redundant, physically secure, scalable data center. Zenetex held functional responsibility for the IT Service Management (ITSM) design and implementation for the Second Data Center. Our staff ensured the implementation and adherence to the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Process Framework within the DHS DC program. We designed, implemented, and integrated the EMC CLARiiON and DMX solutions with SSMS and Veritas Storage Foundation. This included establishing performance monitoring and tuning procedures and reports. We worked with tower engineers on infrastructure integration and with operations to assist in resolving issues. Furthermore, our team designed a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for DHS, which included a contingent Backup and Recovery plan.
Zenetex provided Tier 1 and Tier 2 Network Engineering and service desk support providing active monitoring of FBI network enclaves (unclassified, classified and TOP SECRET). We supported the FBI’s Technical Response Unit (TRU) by managing the routine acquisition, maintenance and engineering on system hardware/software. We provided operations and logistics support for FBI in-theatre communication and satellite operations in the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility (AOR) and provided ITIL/ITSM and ISO aligned services and processes in order to enhance the FBI’s EOC operations.
Zenetex supported the USPTO’s continuing efforts of Infrastructure, Design, Engineering, Architecture, and Integration (IDEAI) services providing independent, objective, and expert technical advice and assistance for ongoing and future information technology initiatives. Our staff supported these efforts by providing services in one or all of the following: System Design, Infrastructure Engineering, Network Engineering, System Engineering, Accessibility Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, and System Development Life Cycle Support, design of infrastructure system components, and unbiased third party review of other Government contractors' plans, performance, and products.
The Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide Information Technology (IT) solutions through performance of a wide range of support services as broadly described in Section C, Statement of Work. The Contractor shall provide, in accordance with issued Task Orders (TOs), all management, supervision, labor, facilities, and materials necessary to perform IT support services on an IDIQ basis.
The term of the EAGLE II contract is a five (5) year base period and one (1) two-year option period. This is not a multi-year contract as defined in FAR Part 17.1, Multiyear Contracting. TOs may be issued at any time during the base and/or option period. The performance periods will be specified in the TOs and may include option periods which extend the TO up to twelve (12) months beyond the expiration date of this contract.
Zenetex will be working in Functional Category 2 (FC2): Information Technology Program Support Services, in which the Contractor shall provide the full range of business and technical management services in support of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) offices or programs.
