Jill Zimmerman is the Director of IT Service Management Training and Development at Zenetex. With more than 16 years of industry experience, Jill specializes in providing ITSM solutions and training services to the federal government. She also delivers ITSM training classes to the agencies that she supports. Recently, Ms. Zimmerman was named Program Manager for the Transformation and Service Management Implementation Program at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Information and Technology. Her team consists of ten highly skilled and specialized consultants tasked with enabling OIT’s transformation to a more efficient and agile service provider to all of CBP.
Since 2010, Ms. Zimmerman has been working on the itSMF Fusion Conference Team; serving as the Conference Program Chair since 2012.
Ms. Zimmerman was the 2008 recipient of the Zenetex Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Achievement for her commitment to the company, her customer, and her community. In her spare time, Ms. Zimmerman is actively involved in local charity work and is the President Emeritus and Treasurer of the Penn State Professional Women’s Network of DC. Ms. Zimmerman holds a bachelor's degree in Education from The Pennsylvania State University and is an ITIL Service Manager, Expert and an ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Consultant/Manager.
