Steve Daczkowski currently serves as Vice President of Business Development and possesses over 20 years of combined management, consulting, and military leadership experience providing management of military, government, and contract technical efforts. Since coming onboard in July 2014, Steve’s primary focus has been to provide business leadership driving the firm’s growth in the federal and civil markets. Recently he led the first task order win under the Eagle II contract vehicle supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Following his service as a Naval Flight Officer and an Advanced Mission Systems Project Officer for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), he pursued a Senior Consultant role with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) performing project management, process improvement, and systems engineering consulting services for financial, human resources, and technical organizations.
Joining Imagine One Technology and Management in 2005 as a Program Manager, Steve played an integral role in the firm’s expansion from 100 employees to over 350, developing key strategic relationships with both Industry and Government partners at executive levels within NAVAIR and other agencies. Most recently he served as Vice President of NAVAIR programs, leading over 200 personnel while interfacing with Senior Government program authorities and representatives in the supervision of program/project operations, as well as directing business development efforts.
Steve graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering, later earning a MA in Organizational Management from The George Washington University. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through the Program Management Institute (PMI), and is a graduate of the Leadership Southern Maryland Program, Class of 2011.
